The Coral Colony of the Pacific Ocean was one of the longest lasting mermaid colonies known to the merworld until the day it was torn apart by several rogue mermen. The assassinations stretched over the course of an hour, killing most members of the colony, forcing the last few apart in several directions. Maya, Isla, and Grace are left alive and together. They flee from the area. Knowing the water is unsafe, they go to the only place they know to be protected from the mermen. The land. Their mission? Restore the ocean to safety so that the mermaids that remain alive can return home. The problem? That is a very hard thing to do in California. Not only that but when their secret gets out, they don't know who they can trust. From there, things hit a downward slope. They just have to remember, if something wants to live, it needs the heart to keep it going. Mermaids are the heart of the ocean; the only thing that keeps it going.All Rights Reserved
