That Girl (#Watty2017)

Dominique Black was another girl raised in South Philadelphia by her single mother. She was a picture perfect student in school but after school was a much different story. Dominique, "Nique", liked to explore and her means of transport, the train, took her everywhere. You could catch Nique in every part of Philly, in other cities of Pennsylvania, and in the outside skirts of New Jersey.

It didn't matter where she went as long as she was back home before midnight. But her exploring is brought to a sudden halt when her father, a major businessman and CEO, calls for her in upscale New York with his wife and their rather preppy daughter. Her mother ships her off because Nique is the rightful heir to his company and she thinks it's best to get her out of Philly.

And before she knows it she's thrust into the fast-paced world of New York, which includes a private school, snobby bitches, balls and galas, and even state dinners. One of those snobby bitches is Cyrus Rose who took a unique interest in the loud, improper, rude girl who has a funny way of talking.

To him, Nique was a rare species, one that he wanted to decipher, himself, especially because her high-class background did not match up to her in general. Cyrus was absolutely positively determined to figure out this girl's upbringing and maybe find some love out of it.
