Have you ever felt like you had an alter ego, or two? You ever feel like during the day your completely different than how you behave and feel at night? Not gonna lie, I feel like that a lot. Her Egos, is a poem formatted story of a girl who is naturally quiet, shy and reserved until she moves to a new city where she is introduced to what it means to really be a party girl. How will this effect her? How do you tame what was never meant to be tamed? All rights reserved. Ashlyn Scott is your average American teenager. She lives with both her parents and older brother Case. She's captain of the cheer squad, and is top of her class. She gets along with everyone, and is considered one of the nicest people in the whole school. But then there's Caiden Cummings. Caiden has every single material item he could ever want. And all the attention of any girl he could ever want. But his life is utterly miserable. He's had two of the most important people in his life ripped away from at too young of an age. He chooses to numb his pain with alcohol and drugs. The weak man's way out. He built a wall around his heart, and he won't let anyone in. When Ashlyn and Caiden cross paths one night, Caiden finds himself -much to his dismay- opening up to her. And Ashlyn finds herself willing listen to anything he has to say, and trying to help him out of his dark place. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We both smiled at each other, our bodies pressed together. Our fingers intertwined. He leaned over me as I stood up on my tip-toes. Our lips pressed together, and I immediately felt the goose bumps. My knees were weak, and butterflies flew in my stomach. I dropped my hands from his and pushed them through his thick, soft hair. He pulled me tighter up against him, like he couldn't get enough. Every part of me wanted to hold on to him, and never let go.
