But that perfect little fantasy of a family life she had changed when a war starts in the Usa, and Alex is shipped off to become a nurse and to be forced to grow up and become an adult. With a change of events, Alex is woken up on a beach in Neverland where it is run by an evil fairytale character, Peter Pan, and his lost boys. Both Peter and Alex are in for a surprise for as much as Peter wants to deny it; Peter is no longer the smartest Trickster in Neverland.
