The sky screams and throws itself towards the ground, wrestling with the wings of the gigantic creature bending it. The leather wings beat the air, not tossed around by the howling winds, playing with them, it's joyous roar one with the growling night.
Cura Grampook stares at the nightly skies in awe, her fingers clutching a book. Starting her sixth year in Hogwarts, it has become quite full, and until now, it's all dreams. But she is determined to not let the hundreds of sketches of Hungarian Horntails, Chinese Fireballs, and Antipodean Opaleyes remain just that. Striving to become the world's greatest dragonologist.
But not all is rosy dreams in Cura's life. There are reasons she keeps to herself, reasons she has learned to enjoy solitude. And those reasons are catching up to her, right when a quirky Hufflepuff is starting to get mixed up in her life.
Disclaimer: I don't own anything about this franchise, except, of course, for my character, which you will most likely be able to recognize. I wrote this, though I will use Rowling's exact wording for any speeches that are made that my characters witness.
Further, this story will deal with some sexual abuse and a few other dark topics. Just saying...
