They say Sirens don't feel emotions, especially affection. They're theorized to have only been creatures to slaughter and drown humans. Luna highly doubts the idea of this theory created by humans.
After a heart break, Cordelia runs to the sea where she could scream and kick rocks just to let her anger out. In the distance someone emerges from the water, singing a song with an ethereal voice that soothed the girl. She swam after the mysterious person in the ocean, questioning why she was doing. Everything happened in a flash: a pull, a kiss, and then being left to drown in the water.
But she was given a second chance of life as a siren, no memories left with her. After her discovery of an underwater city, she meets a handsome guy known as Nyquaryn. Just after they hang out a while, she finds the emotion of affection within her. After the obstacles they face, she's left to know that the only way there is to be with the one she loves is to become human.

Bile burned her throat as she coughed and all the while she was still flailing at the water, fighting the drag of shoes and clothes to keep afloat. She should kick them off-that's what you were supposed to do if you fell into the ocean with your clothes on-but she was only a dozen feet from the dock. Besides, it was her only coat. I won't survive. I'm sure of it. Strong wind ruffles through my clothes and hardly allows my eyes to remain open.
