Rocket and Ruth Raccoon were the only to that were experimented on by the robots. Both escaped after Rocket attacked the robots but not without an injury. Ruth, Rocket and Groot were partners until Ronan came and tried to kill Ruth.

After being separated and believing that Rocket and Groot abandoned her, she set off on her own journey, finding an abandoned border collie pup with a missing eye and leg.

She takes in the dog and has him become her new partner as the two set on a journey but what happens when Ruth bumps into Rocket and Groot again?
