This is my first novel. I have since written many more. I have not read this novel in years. I thought I would post it here just to see what people thought.
It's a Space Opera about a football player who gets abducted by aliens and forced to do their dirty work.

After moving to a new town Marcie begins visiting the beach. Strangely enough she gets caught up in this crazy new world with aliens and shifting powers. Trying to save a lost species from the human race. Marcie along with Isaac and the rest of the chosen kids must find a way to hide aliens from the government and become ambassadors for earth. The Gray
My 2008 NANOWRIMO project: The Gray is a 'low' fantasy novel in spite of dragons and magic and horror. Giant spells won't be saving the day, and there's no mighty magic swords, in fact most spells aren't even out there in your face, they're implied. The Gray is set in a lone human city in a world where being human is stranger and and less common than being an elf, or almost anything else. Their community is Isolated, and protected by a a group of trained fighters and scouts with specific roles, who give up their own names when they take on The Gray. Walker, one of the scouts of The Gray, accidentally stumbles across signs that their way of life, and maybe even the world, may be threatened, and is quickly forced to face the fact that trying to save his home and people may require loosing them forever.Lengkap

Prologue: Earth has found out they're not alone in the universe. An alien species have contacted Earth, giving them a chance to be protected by the aliens out there that threatens the universe. They inform them that there are in fact thousands of alien species out there. The alien race, who calls themselves Opsidians, offer Earth a chance at competing in the Games, a televised reality competition game they host. In order to win the protection, Earth will have to send a tribute to the Games. They know little to nothing about the Games or these alien species.
