Sitting in his car, coffee guy looked over at me to check if I was ok.
Of course I'm okay! It's not like I'm shaking or anything am I?!
I'm perfectly fine.
An experience like that has absolutely no effect on me.
"Hey.. You look kinda pale. Are you sure you don't want me to take you to the hospital?" A look of worry crossed his face making his eyebrows knit together and his eyes focus on me.
Not that I looked at the details like that.
"I'm fine. I would like to just get home."
"Oh ok. No thank you for saving me life from a rapist?" He chuckled sarcastically. Wow large ego too.
"Thank you so much for saving my life from a rapist." I even smiled. Huge accomplishment.
