The ultimate test to fight for something worth fighting for... The perfect son meets imperfect girl. The life of Eighteen year old highschool quarterback Caleb Foster had always been controlled by his parents. Who he dated, his school grades and other academic accomplishments were part of it. He knew doing anything stupid to change his parents views were not a perfect idea. He must and should always be the perfect son. It was a perfect, wealthy household and striving for perfection all the time was a must. But with all this perfection came setbacks. Caleb couldn't date girls outside his race. Not when his parents, especially his mother was secretly wishing for Evonne's downfall. Evonne Smith grew up in a crazy household and that gave her mental problems. Wiithin this household held lots of secrets and she just couldn't take it anymore. Her mom was a druggie and an abuser. And that meant trouble. When her mother disappeared from the family life, her father met a woman and moved to Chicago. This was not something Evonne was waiting for. She definitely didn't like changes. Not when the step mom was kind of mean to her. When she met Caleb, her life changed into something she never thought would ever happen to her. Someone genuinely loved her, and it was a boy and she couldn't let this go by. But when hidden secrets get revealed only they can change them. Told in both POV.

She seems to have it all, but this "total package" comes with a heavy toll - more like a sharp tongue. Yeah, she has one of those and wastes no time using it. George Mills, also known as "Flynn" - a nickname given to him in high school because of a terrible prank gone haywire - just wants to be a scientist. He is just no good in science. He also has the competence to make soaring grades while still managing to keep up with Lebron "King James" James, basketball stats. Some say he is talented. Even when he has changed his major "fifty fucking times because I just can't get shit right." He seems to have it all - no, really he is a great kid. With this "total package" comes a heavy toll - more like an endless buffet of annoying verbal comebacks. Yeah, he is one of those and wastes no time letting everyone know.
