Emily looked at her arm with satisfaction as the blood oozed out of her 'art' she hated to call them cuts even though thats what they were. The burning snapped her out of her thoughts as she added three more cuts, they were getting deeper and deeper but the pain reminded her she was still alive. She wondered how she got herself here. Maybe it was the loneliness, maybe it was the constant bullying from her classmates, no it had to be the verbal abuse from her family. Either way she never thought she'd self harm and when she started self harming she promised herself she wouldn't let them get deep, she promised herself she'd just keep them at Chicken Scratches. That's how they started. They started out as 'Chicken Scratches'. All Rights Reserved® Kala Clayton 2014©
