Alexandria Carter also known as Alex is 17 years old. She was put in foster care when she was 6 months old left on the front steps of Ms. Hills Orphanage without a name or letter all she had were clothes and a basket. She was known as the big bad girl in New York City and the reason for that is she lived right in the heart of New York. When Alex gets caught by the cops again Ms. Hill must take action before they send her to jail, but no one saw this coming. Mrs. Hill thinks sending Alex off to live in Rose Oak, Louisiana with a cop is a good idea. Maybe Alex will stay out of trouble this time or will she get into even more than she can handle. 

Dylan Woods is a 17 year old boy who is the bad boy of his school, Rose Oak High School home of the Wolves. His friends and him are always in trouble with the law but since his friends dad is a cop they sometime can get bailed out. Will Dylan turn his life around to help his mother and father or will he get into more trouble and go to jail. 

What will Dylan do when a new kid comes to school? How will Alex do in her new home? What will happen when their lives collide? Will she ever know who she truly is or will she live the life that she has only ever known?
