Flare became suspicious of this and was invited to a Victory Ball the Prince threw once a year since the extinction of the Crimson Kingdom. After speaking with the Prince he made an offer to her she couldn't refuse. Flare agreed to the terms of the agreement between her and the Prince. After spending some time with Prince Andrew, Flare learned things about him that no one else knew about and the reason why the Crimson Kingdom was destroyed.
