A princess grows up separate from the world, including her own family. A peasant girl sees the worst humanity has to offer, and still has faith in the goodness of people. A knight who has sworn to do good is trained in the most brutal tactics imaginable. 

In this world, unicorns are wise, powerful and immortal warriors. Magic can heal the world or tear it apart.

This is a collection of short stories based on the world and the characters of my two full-length fantasy novels, which are not yet completed. It is a more traditional medieval Europe-based fantasy with a unique take on the use of magic and fantastical creatures. *These are not actual excerpts from my novels- they are non-canon side scenes which relate to the story, but aren't directly from it.*

Also, the artwork is mine. I do not give anyone permission to use it. If you see someone using this art without permission from me, please let me know!

I made this when I was younger and decided to release my old work into this to the world. I didn't plan a storyline so this maybe have crazy tone shifts. (Making her naive to the cruelty of the world.) She always wanted to see the world outside of the castle. Though everyone saw her as a weak helpless princess that needs to be protected, and hidden from the cruel world she desperately wants to see with her blue eyes. A witch shows up one late after noon and offers her magic mirror, that can show her the outside world from just looking into it. She only needs to imagine the place she wants to see and will be there. The princess though was being a jerk so the witch cursed the mirror. Making it so that the princess ever looked into it, she will become a fearsome dragon. "The princess will no longer be a princess and she will see the world she desperately wants to see. Her soft skin will turn scaled. Her silk like hair will disappear and be replaced with sharp horns. She will be the monster outside as that she is inside." Whispered the witch.

I Love You, Always Forever; A Medieval Zelink Story AU by Link-knight-177

Zelink AU Medieval Fanfiction Zelda, currently Princess of Hyrule wishes to see the world outside of the castle. Her father expects her to marry one of the chosen suitors to prepare Hyrule's next King, but she doesn't like the sight of any of them. Link is a Hylian knight with a tragic past. Being secretive and closed off is how he prefers to live. He has a quest he believes he must do alone-to find his older sister. But Hyrule is subject to an unknown danger, within itself. How will the mystery unfold and how will Zelda and Link achieve their dreams? I don't think I'm super great at medieval writing...(knowing the time period, vocabulary, descriptions, etc...) but I tried anyways! Sorry for the unappetizing description. But I think I write stories better than I write summaries I promise haha... ~Clean and appropriate for most ages~ There will be some minor blood and other descriptions that may be disturbing for young people. I was the daughter of Duke Solon, I thought I was the last child. My elder brother is following in my father's stead. We were never really close. We both share my father's personality, a wedge that makes it hard for the three of us to talk to one another. It was fine, living like that, I mean. I was the daughter of the Duke, engaged to the Prince who didn't seem to care that much about the engagement. I was the Master of Ancient Magic at the Magic Tower. I had everything and I was stronger than most. The only terrible thing was that on my coming of age ceremony, it was all ruined. Catherina broke into my ball, claiming to be the daughter of some woman and my father. She looked like her mother and acted like her to gain my father's affection, society's adoration and the Prince's love. For two years she ruined me up to the point of my death. She somehow was able to frame me and villainize me as she stole my fiancé and life. She continued doing so until I somehow was framed for attempted murder. My father called me a traitor and a liar, the Prince sentenced my death and no one stopped it. I woke in my body again, 18 years old and with a plan. I don't want the Prince who will ridicule me, embarrass me and choose the woman over me. I don't care for all those who supported her over me. I had one plan. Kill her before she kills me.

Dragons, Unicorns, and All That Jazz (#1 in the All That Jazz series) by gracenow

First book in the 'All That Jazz' series! (There is a new and improved version of this story) The world is changing. People are being transformed into different creatures. Its like fairy tales exploded all over the world. Young 15 year old Kim is chosen to become a dragon rider. This means she will have to risk everything to save her planet. Can she do it after everything she knows is stripped from her? After everyone abandon's her? Will she be willing to let everything around her die, or will she die herself? For something she doesn't even want to be? Okay so this whole story is dedicated to this little girl I babysit named Autumn. She was the inspiration for this story. She is only 8. She told me one day that she wished for a unicorn. When I asked her why, she said "A unicorn can do anything you want." :)

The Lost Life of Laraine by BearGoRawr

She lead a rather tragic life. The black sheep of her family due to her lack of affinity for fire. Her affinity was quite the opposite. Water in fact. Already in a time when women did not really have much political power or rights, she was outcasted by her family despite being of nobility. Still allowed to live in the distant west wing of the massive Grand Duke's manor, she has never eaten a single meal with her family nor extended family, and has spent her loneliness in her books and sword lessons. Although only taught by the head butler and one of the low ranked knights of the family, she was quite bright and if her family would have given her a chance she would have done great things. If only she didn't die at such a young age. Married off to some "hero" of sort that had slayed the Dragon of the North who was terrorizing the land and threatened the kingdom, this hero also had an affinity for fire and held her in disdain like the rest of her family. Suddenly a girl of another world was transported to their world, picked up by this hero and put into his secure care. The pair soon fell for each other despite the hero's marriage, and many believed Laraine got jealous of this girl of mystery, and tried to kill her. This was definitely not true. But because the girl was favored by the temple and kingdom Laraine was quickly arrested and put on trial. You can probably tell what happened to Laraine. But something strange happened the day of her execution. As soon as her decapitated head hit the ground the sky turned blood red and it began to rain fire. No one survived that day. But for some reason time went back, and Laraine was back to being a child, but with no memory of her future. There were select few in her life, however, that remembered her tragedy and now perhaps will take action to prevent it. NOTE: I'M AWARE THERE ARE A LOT OF INCONSISTENCIES. IT WILL BE EDITED SOME DAY BUT RIGHT NOW I'M JUST TRYING TO FINISH IT.

REWRITE IS UP NOW ANd is way better seriously. Taking a shortcut was the most life-changing decision Rosalie had ever made. One large demon cat later, she's whisked away by two knights to a separate realm because of her violet eyes and striking resemblance to their long lost princess. Ro is shoved into a life of magic, with duties to her kingdom and people piled on top. Duties, like being forced to attend the most elite school in the realm for young knights in training. But with her newfound strength and political influence comes death threats and assassination attempts from an unseen enemy. Rosalie juggles everything in her new life, hoping that she'll one day be the ruler she knows her kingdom deserves. This story has been one I've bounced around my head for years now, and I've finally written it out. You could say this is a labor of love. And pain. And caffeine. So much caffeine. Enjoy this, my first story. EDIT: Now that I've poked around on Wattpad some, I realize that this is somewhat similar to MyLovelyWriter's Celeste Academy. I'm very sorry for any misunderstanding, but I can assure you, I just have an awkward and longstanding obsession with castles, knights, and magic.
