A princess grows up separate from the world, including her own family. A peasant girl sees the worst humanity has to offer, and still has faith in the goodness of people. A knight who has sworn to do good is trained in the most brutal tactics imaginable. 

In this world, unicorns are wise, powerful and immortal warriors. Magic can heal the world or tear it apart.

This is a collection of short stories based on the world and the characters of my two full-length fantasy novels, which are not yet completed. It is a more traditional medieval Europe-based fantasy with a unique take on the use of magic and fantastical creatures. *These are not actual excerpts from my novels- they are non-canon side scenes which relate to the story, but aren't directly from it.*

She looked like her mother and acted like her to gain my father's affection, society's adoration and the Prince's love. For two years she ruined me up to the point of my death. She somehow was able to frame me and villainize me as she stole my fiancé and life. She continued doing so until I somehow was framed for attempted murder. My father called me a traitor and a liar, the Prince sentenced my death and no one stopped it. I woke in my body again, 18 years old and with a plan. Making it so that the princess ever looked into it, she will become a fearsome dragon. "The princess will no longer be a princess and she will see the world she desperately wants to see. Her soft skin will turn scaled. Her silk like hair will disappear and be replaced with sharp horns. She will be the monster outside as that she is inside." Whispered the witch.
