a girl named grace is mute. she only has one friend and they both get bullied. her friend's name is preston and they're in 9th grade. the only people she talks to is her mother and preston. she doesn't even talk, they use sign language. grace's mom gives her all the love and support she can and preston listens to her and gives advice. mother says to use her voice to stand up for herself against the bullies; but will that be a mistake?
