Andy Michael wasn't happy. In fact, there were a few times in his life where he wondered that if some odd worse pulled him from the world, would anyone really care? His mother is a huge part of his sadness, actually. Ever since his dad left he and his mom, she often comes home slobbering drunk some nights and that can really scar someone. But, ever since that one summer when Andy was 16 and was convinced by a friend to come to a party, he met her, June; a girl too pure for this world who decided that he needed someone. She was an angel, really. But was this girl truly an angel, or would she be his biggest mistake?

Megan Stewart hasn't known much happiness. She's only 17, but her life has been hard. However, despite all that she's been through, Megan keeps a smile on her face. Meet Jared Wesly. He's the bad boy of the school. However, he's not so much a bad boy. He's simply misunderstood. Only, he's been through quite a lot, just like Megan. In fact, they have more in common than Megan knows. When Jared and Megan's worlds collide (quite literally), Megan finds herself drawn to the boy that annoys her to no end, teases her, but makes her feel happy and protected, something almost unknown to her. Megan must make a choice in the end: Does she take a chance with the familiar boy, or does he become another "What if?" in her life? NOTE: I first wrote this story when I was around 13-14, so there will be cliches and cringe-worthy writing at moments. *Caution: Some language*
