Humans are obliviously entertaining the other life-forms as always. "Spectators" are those life-forms who use pods to observe life on Earth. Spectators bet on any Earthling activity and watch them like soap operas.
An aspiring extraterrestrial artist rents a pod near Earth to acquire inspiration for his art. He immediately is intrigued by a beautiful woman who becomes his muse. His fascination blossoms into something other-worldy as he finds himself unable to stop thinking about her. Then, one day she is in danger and he goes beyond spectating when he swoops in to save her. From one illegal action to another, they evade capture by the Enforcers.
