The Fabulous Spec-Fic Smackdown
I've decided to jump into the latest smackdown hosted by LayethTheSmackDown and Ooorah. This is where I'll be posting my entries. It's been fun and challenging doing these in the past and it's good motivation to churn out some stories. I haven't managed to win one yet, but in a way that's beside the point. Hopefully I can last a few rounds, but if not, that's okay, too. Good luck to all who decide to participate!

@Ooorah and @LayethTheSmackDown sponsor this flash fiction contest each year. We Smackdowners write stories on prompts for (hopefully) several rounds, based on a theme, and the last writer standing is the winner. These are my entries.
SmackDown: Back to Our Roots
Our previous two SmackDowns were both massive successes, and it's high time for another. You might remember the last one was heavy on the "game" elements, maybe even too heavy. This time we're going back to the basics and keeping it simple. It's just a motherfuckin' sci-fi SmackDown: a heated writing contest where contestants are given text-, music- and visual-based prompts, and then they need to write a short story around that, following which they're judged for their efforts and either move on to the next round or they get eliminated from the competition. But there's gotta be some kind of twist, right? For this one we're waxing nostalgic, we're looking back into our past. We're going back to our roots.

Hello and welcome to my second book! In this book I will be placing you (the reader) in different stories! If you happened to come across this book and find that you want to read it, by all means feel free to comment to guess which story you've been put in! I will be making them in parts so the beginning of one story will be named as "Story 1 - Part 1" And the beginning of another story would be named "Story 2 - Part 1" and etc etc... I will be keeping the titles so that others readers who might come across this will have the chance to guess the names of the stories, too. Though I will reveal the name of the show or movie that was written at the end. Btw, each character will have a different hobby to make it a little more interesting. (FYI, there will be some stories with mature content and then some stories that might be considered completely childish.) I don't not own the characters in the story that you may recognise. I only own (Y/n). If there is another character that I own in the stories, I will mention that. P.S. You may notice that I put 🎵 in my stories. 🎵 = There's a phrase that reminded me of a song. See if you can guess it!
