"You don't know who you are." he said.

"What are you talking about?" I asked rather unsure.

This is what I get for staying up late and stupidly wandering my ass around when I should have been in bed at this hour.He looked strange and scary. His hair was a mess and his clothes were torn and untidy ... not to mention his foul breath.

"What you see, hear and feel are all sham." he leaned closer as my back touched the wall.

'This guy is nuts.'

"What you think is hope will crush your heart, your soul and being." The street lights flickered on and off like it's going to die soon. And I think I will too if he keeps at it. He seriously needs to brush his teeth and work on his hygeine.

"You are not a person of yourself." he slowly back away as I collected my scattered thoughts together.

I watched him walk away. And just as the flickering lights finally died, he vanished.

"The changes will break you." his voice echoed in my head and I winced in pain. I looked around and saw an empty street disturbingly lit with the flickering light of the unfortunately undying street lamp.

I just hope it dies.
