What if one of your distant cousins married someone from Australia? What if during Christmas her husband started talking about his family? What if your cousin's husband mentioned the name Irwin? Would your eyes go wide? "So how's the family?" Sandy asks. "How they're great! I got to see the other side my family I don't see every often." His accent strong. "And I was surprised to see my cousin. He's been very busy." "Oh really? What does he do?" My aunt asks. "He was doing gigs all over the place with his little band." A tour? "I've never heard of this family!" Christie says laughing. Jacob turns his head to examine his wife. "I've never told you about the Irwin's?" He questions. Irwin? Sounds familiar. Maybe I've met them before. "No!" She laughs. "Well they've been busy with Ashton's traveling and all." He answers holding his wives hand. Ashton Irwin. Ashton Irwin! "Carlie, Can you come down. Your sister has something to tell us." yelled to me from the stairs "Yeah, hold on i'm coming" I called from my room. I jumped up from my bed and raced down the stairs. "What's going on" I asked walking in the living room. "Okay everybody i'm getting married" my sister said excitedly. "To who, may I ask" asking my sister "You can come in now" she yelled across the house. I turned to the doorway to see a man standing there. " hey " I said while giving a light knock to the door " hi, what are u doing here? come in " he said trying to fix his tie, which he seemed to fail miserably. " shouldn't u be getting ready for the wedding? " he said. He was right, I should be getting ready wearing the white gown selected by my cousin and getting my hair and makeup done. But here I was wearing all black standing in front of him. The wedding is to be held within a few hours, everything was planned according to me, the pinkish white and red wine coloured decorations, the food , the cake, everything. This wedding is exactly as I expected my wedding to be. " ughhh God, Anne can you please help me with the tie? " he said giving up trying to do his tie. He was wearing the black wedding tuxedo which looked as if it was made only for him, his hair combed and parted on the left side giving him the perfect look. " no " I said sternly " no? Slowly I walked closer to him and then did the one thing that I wanted to do for so many years, I closed the distance between us and pressed my lips onto his, the kiss lasted for a few second before I pulled out, but stood very close to him. As he tries to get through his anxiety to get them to meet his boyfriend, things start going south. Never has he been shy about his sexuality, but how is he supposed to convince his family it isn't a phase if he can't even get them to talk to him properly? The characters in this story are based loosely on Bobby Moynihan's theory about the Weekend Update family, as well as throwing other things around that make sense revolving that. Finding Little Parker
Cameron and Jaike were walking in the park with their newly engaged friends, although they don't get along they were putting everything aside so this wedding could go off without a hitch. As they were walking in the park Cameron spots a little blue blanket under the trees. She walked over to the little blue blanket with Jaike, gently removing the blanket laid a baby a few months old. She took the baby into her arms, "Jaike who would just leave a baby in the park?" I asked. He shrugged his shoulders "I don't know Cam but I think we should take him to the hospital so we can get him checked out and to see if he is missing." We were now waiting at the hospital for the case worker because he is all healthy and ready to go home with his family. It wasn't long until they turned up and they hadn't found his parents, I asked "what happens with him now?" They carefully pick him up "he goes into a foster home, he is young so he shouldn't stay there for long." I nodded my head and asked "can I take him, I will adopt him if I have to but that is no place for a baby." The social worker turned to me "I am sorry but a single lady like yourself is in no place to raise a baby by yourself." As I was then going to respond Jaike cut in "she isn't alone and single she has me her boyfriend and we both want to take him in." She nodded her head "okay I will make arrangements." She left the room leaving us with this baby boy, I turned to Jaike and said "you didn't need to do that, I want to have him not for you to be in it half heartedly."
