Bella Reece is sent to high school a year early. Instead of being Year 8, she is now Year 9. Although she is only eleven, sharp-tongued and smart, Bella is not a girl to be messed with. Jason Conner obviously doesn't know that.
Jason Conner is Westside's school bully. Known by all, feared by all, scared by none. Expecting her to be a scared little kid, Jason sees Bella as a prime target. Obviously no one told him to expect the unexpected.
Behind the scenes, Jason's grades have slipped dangerously low. The principal decides to assign him a tutor, who just happens to Bella.
