Gabriela just aged out of the foster system. With no where to go and no plans for her life, she's afraid and lonely; so when she crosses paths with Joan Monet who offers her a lending hand she extremely grateful. Soon, she's accompanying Joan to her secluded home by the lake.
What starts as a beautiful dream quickly turns into a horrible nightmare when Joan starts to demonstrate some possessive and abusive behaviors.
