"I guess I'm not normal then." Sherlock scanned me up and down.

"No. You're not. You are anything but normal, if I cannot read you, Alice Watson."
--------------------------

Alice Watson was the polar opposite of the definition of ordinary. At least, that is what she was told a thousand times by Sherlock Holmes. And it was true.

Ever since she joined her brother, John, by moving in with him, her world was turned upside down by the high functioning sociopath. The infamous singer and detective quickly found out that he was not the sort of person that anyone would easily deal with. He was rude, obnoxious, and claimed that he was bored when he did not have a good case. So why should she care for him, when he acts so cold to her? There was something about Sherlock Holmes that drove her to him. Maybe, it was because she understood him better than anyone else, or that she simply saw the good in him. Whatever it was, it worked, and it was the two of them against the world. Both of them were battling enemies, certain cases, and experiencing love for the first time.

However, their perfect world changed when an enemy from Alice's past, a certain James Moriarty strikes, Sherlock and Alice are thrown into a dangerous world, in which they would have to make choices to save the ones they love, or else they would have to pay the price of the dangerous consulting criminal.

One thing is for sure: the game is on.

" Where are you? " It seemed as though John was talking to no one. Just a man in the middle of the streets yelling like a mad man. Such a great sight. " I've watched you since you were born but it's obvious that you haven't fully grasped that you cannot see me unless I want you to see me. For someone that has a college degree I would expect more from you. " John scoffed at the deep baritone voice insulting him. " For someone that has supposedly watched me my whole life, I would have assumed that you would have some type of sympathy for me. Besides, I've seen you before. You just choose to hide. " " I'm only like this because I know that you can handle it. You've dealt with me for this long and I'm hiding from you to save you. " He was right. John have dealt with him for a long time. But he was tired of not knowing who he truly was. The voice knew everything about John while John knew nothing about him. " Can you at least tell me your real name, S? " The nickname sent shivers down John's spine since he hadn't called the voice that in years. " Wow, you do remember. But the name is Sherlock Holmes. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go back to being unknown. " John felt a gust of wind hit him which signaled that Sherlock had once again vanished to who knows where. John's guardian angel sure was a charmer. Always knew how to get them. John could say this though. Sherlock Holmes was one angel that intrigued him in ways he didn't know were possible. But he liked it. - In which a guy named John has a guardian angel named Sherlock follow him around for practically his whole life who will help him reach his life goal that everyone needs to complete. The only problem is that John and Sherlock's unique friendship is tested once they both fall in love with each other. - copyright @Panicattheblurry 2018 This story has been marked as completed but it has been discontinued.

Empty. Baker Street, and the entirety of the City of London, is empty. The streets are no longer busy with cars or pedestrians; it's deserted. Sherlock Holmes and John Watson are the only people around. But they're not alone. The Diseased---people who have caught a strange, rabid-like disease go into a state of madness in which they have the lust to kill anyone they come across---litter the streets. And John is one of them. When Sherlock comes from being in his Mind Palace for longer than he thought for a case he was solving, he finds out that a sudden apocalypse has taken over London, and a mysterious disease has plagued half the population, and they litter the streets. To his horror, John is somehow caught with the disease. The consulting detective finds himself on the most dangerous, and overwhelming case he has ever been on, one that will test his love for John. And that case is to find a cure for his best friend before he loses him to the strange, apocalyptic disease forever. And Sherlock is prepared to walk right through hell, if it means finding a cure for the one man he loves most in the world. ⚠️ ***TRIGGER WARNING*** ⚠️ This fanfic is rated M for a reason! She steps closer, her voice low but piercing, as if each word is a scalpel cutting through the layers he's wrapped around himself. "You wear your intellect like armor, Sherlock, but even the sharpest mind can't hide the fractures underneath. You think the world is a stage and you're the only actor that matters, but the truth is, we're all performing for someone, even when we're alone. You create this facade of apathy, of superiority, because it's easier than admitting that the void you feel isn't invincibility-it's emptiness. You can solve a thousand cases, but in the silence of your own mind, when no one's watching, you'll have to face the one puzzle you can't crack: yourself. And what terrifies you most isn't that no one understands you-it's that someday, someone might." Her gaze lingers on him for a moment, reading his silence before turning away, her words settling like dust in the empty space between them.
