It's been three years since Betty last encountered Jughead; three years since they broke away from each other, three years since Betty left her family and friends as she plummeted into a dark place. However, Jughead and Betty reunite again in an abrupt encounter, leaving Betty full of emotions she didn't understand. As their relationship rekindles, her buried past resurfaces as she is forced to learn to cope with the changes caused by it. Jughead comes back with a proposal, for Betty to run away with him and get out of Riverdale. Will he make Betty's life better or worse?

Betty starts to loose control when she starts to have wild dreams. She realises the person causing these dreams is the only other person on the school paper. He sits with her and her friends at lunch and always hangs around them too. She begins to feel strange around him obviously because of the dreams she could barely look him in the eye. He starts to notice how much she distance herself for him and will try to figure out what is wrong. After a while she stopped having sex randomly, she decided she needed to move on from Jughead, she took off the promise ring and looked for a new guy, and she did find a new guy...and was... falling in love. Jughead of course would spy on her with cameras even after his so called "death." He tried keeping an eye on her but now seeing her every night having sex with a new man has been killing her. Now seeing her falling in love with another man...he's angered and finally has come out of hiding. Of course when he goes to see Betty she's angry, pissed off, she hates him for leaving her like this. He's upset and wants to love her but she doesn't know wether she can trust him again.
