Connor is worried about his first day at Peerc Middle School. Not only is he nervous about his new teachers but he wants to avoid the school bully. When his class schedule gets mixed up, the real horror begins.

"I walk down the school hallway, "don't make eye contact" I keep repeating in my head. The sweet smell of cologne and perfume fills the halls. I keep walking trying not to get noticed. I see the doors of the school getting closer and closer. I speed up trying to make it in time. When Noelani was six years old her family were involved in a serious car accident which sends her to a care home in Minnesota. Since Noelani's move she gets bullied and throughout the years the bullying becomes worse and more abusive. This is all until a new boy joins the school and the bullying starts to stop. At first Noelani wants to have nothing to do with he boy as she is convinced that everybody at the school is the same and are bullies. The boy tries to get to know Noelani but she doesn't want to let him in. All until he tells her he isn't going to give up on her. She decides to get to know the boy and soon realises that she has more feelings towards him than you should towards a friend. She has a crush on him and he does with her so they get together. Everything is fine with the relationship but Noelani is still suffering. The relationship hits rough spots due to the both of them and things going on with their lives. Noelani does her best to stay faithful to the relationship but the boy doesn't try as much. In fact, is the boy in love with Noelani at all? Read the story to find out what happens to Noelani and her boyfriend and to see if things really do get better for her.
