The Secret Life of Katherine James

My name is Katherine James and I am exactly like every other high school girl. I live in a small city. I have best friends, a crazy family, and college dreams. But, just like every other teenage girl, I have secrets. The best kept of which is a very dangerous person. Adrien is my stalker but the more I learn the more I realize it's more complicated than that. As he continues to wage war on my life, I start to question if I even have a chance. I've tried to fight him, but he stops me at every turn. I tried to talk, but I can't speak out right about him or someone I love get's hurt so eventually, I just stopped talking. I decided to run away with the help of David, another one of my secrets. He smuggled me out of Summersteen, but we lost contact. However, I quickly came to realize that he held the key to not only my survival, but the survival of all the people we care about. But how can I ask the boy I've secretly loved for years to do what needs to be done? Can I risk the only person that has ever really known me? Do I have the right to play games with the lives of the people we know? I've quickly come to realize that, one way or another, I'll have to choose. Choose between my life as I know it, possibly David's life in general, and keeping the worlds of the people that I love from falling apart. I have too many secrets and not enough time to figure out how to untangle them all. One way or another, I have to make a choice, and it will leave us all changed, for better or worse, forever.
