It was an average day until she got it. The first in a series of letters that would change her life forever. At first they're just a cheat sheet for history (not really) and a private guide to her teenage love life (yes really).
She grows attached to the boy from the past and wishes she was the girl in his stories. She obeys his old wishes for his girl and experiences things like they're for her.
Eventually, she goes on a mission for him, thinking it will be easy, but she couldn't have been more wrong. Her quest is anything but expected, and the result couldn't be stranger.
A glitch in the post office computer changes everything for dear Melissa Melbourne. It makes her go through heartbreak, friendloss, poison ivy, mental hospitals, prison, courthouses and the Department of Education just to discover the most startling thing of all: he was always there beside her.

Evelyn Sheer and the researchers are trying to create a genetic modification that enables humans to photosynthesize. Once in the facility, Evita is tagged as a test subject and loses all say over what happens to her body. She has to escape. By the time she comes up with a plan there is only one problem.
