After the war, Hogwarts is in ruins-just like Draco Malfoy's reputation. Isolated from his old friends and resented by the rest of the school, he keeps his distance from everyone, especially Hermione Granger. She represents everything he was raised to despise. But when she saves his life-against his will-Draco is forced to confront the one truth he can't ignore: he owes her. And the more their paths collide, the harder it becomes to see her as just a Mudblood. In a castle filled with ghosts of the past, some grudges refuse to die... and some enemies refuse to stay enemies.
