Waylon was wet and shivering on the side of the cold road and the dark man was staring and that made him shiver of fright. Was he scared or was it from being frustrated from not seeing nor being with his wife, how many months had passed since escaping that hell and this man was staring at him like he wants to eat the sandy blond alive. How will Waylon survive this ordeal his last thought before his mind goes black. The dark figure grins and steps forward towards the unconscious human body.

My hand slaps against my mouth as I try to shut myself up. Don't make too much noise...or he'll hear you. A vehicle's door opens then slams shut. I don't hear footsteps...but as the minutes go by I begin to hear them; the footsteps get louder and louder and louder, matching the sound of my thundering heart.
