Hattori Heiji, kidnapped at an early age was raised to become a sadistic sniper of the Black Organisation. He was sent on a mission to assassinate Kudou Shinichi who had recovered his original body. But due to Paikaru's sadistic tendencies, he played about with Shinichi, pretending to be his friend. At some point, Paikaru started to develop mysterious feelings towards Shinichi. Overwhelmed, he snapped, only to 'kill' Shinichi.
