Alex is a senior in highschool and hes been through hell. He just moved to a small town outside of Baltimore from England because of his families death. It doesnt help that he has horrible anxiety that prevents him from being as social as possible.
What happened to Alexs family? His brother? Will he find comfort in his music and new friends?

When Jack collapses during his band, All Time Low's show; he's quickly rushed into hospital. Jack's bandmates Rian, Zack and Alex are told that Jack has stage four cancer and the doctors are surprised it has gone unnoticed for so long. The four boys decide to spend Jack's final days on the road, travelling to all the places that holds memories of their friendship. New Kid On An Old Block
Alex is the new kid at school. After transferring from his private school friendless and bullied, it was safe to say that he was terrified. He lived alone basically. His parents are great, but they're always out on business trips. He had no friends at his old school, he was just the one they made fun of. Alex has some issues of his own. Being alone and hated really takes a toll on someone's mental health. Things look up when he meets two guys in his new school. One of which is really cool and calm, and the other was adorable, handsome, flawless, perfect and funny. Maybe transferring wasn't such a bad thing. On the first day of 8th grade Jack Barakat notices the new kid, soon to be known as no other than Alex Gaskarth. By just one glance at him from the crowded school hallway, Jack has come to the conclusion that he hates him already. Alex just moved to Baltimore and he already has all the popular kids wrapped around his little finger. How he managed to climb to the top of the popularity list is beyond Jack's knowing. All Jack know's is that he can't wait to be far away from the school, from the popular kids, and farther away from Alex as possible.
