Mackenzie King and August Alsina have lived next door to each other far as time can tell. Mackenzie has always felt a strong pull to August, knowing he was the love of her life as so she proclaimed it to be. But she kept it hidden from him and just about everyone else, but her two best friends Brielle and Kennedy. She told the beginning of high school meaning 9th-grade year. Kennedy went ahead a stole the love of her life proclaiming him as hers and ever since then things have never been right between the two. She destroyed their friendship, Mackenzie was a simple girl she wore braces and glasses and she held a nice figure. But, she never showed it. But, she gets a makeover before the beginning of her senior year. What happens when August finally begins to notice her will he come to his true senses or allow someone else to come and steal his queen?
