Ever since Anna was little, she saw things that nobody else could. She told her parents stories of the alien-like monsters that tried to talk to her, but her parents never believed her. They thought that it was a just a phase and that she would grow out of it, but as Anna grew older, she kept telling her parents the same stories of these creatures. Her parents soon grew worried and took her to a psychologist and said that she had schizophrenia. Anna claimed that it was all real, but her parents didn't believe her and put her into an asylum. Anna always saw their shadows on the walls of her room and listened to them trying to communicate with her. Soon they tell Anna of their plan to destroy the Earth and ask her to come with them. Will Anna aboard their spacecraft and leave the earth behind forever, or will she try to destroy the aliens and save our world?

The Elite Dream
In my world you have to be one of the Elite. After graduating from 8th grade it is a shitshow. You wait long intense nights filled with fear because you know one day they will come for you. They will get you mark my words on that. One day you will be ripped away from the comforts of your own home and shipped away to the cruise. None of the adults speak of what happens on the cruise. I can tell based off of the haunted look in there eyes it's nothing good. I've heard tall tales of a place full of hopes and dreams. They call this place High school. High school is just that though...a dream. In the real world all we have is the cruise. The cruise where some never return from. In my world it is survival of the fittest. This is my Entry for the Open Novella Contest III. This goes with the writing prompt #53. This is the direction I chose to take it. Hope you all enjoy. {COMPLETED} Samantha hasn't touched Earth in 16 years. She has always dreamt of finding her biological family on Earth and meeting them for the first time again. But she can't. Samantha can't dream anymore, she is apart of the cause to save the human race. The year is B35 and the Earth is becoming overpopulated every day. The governments have combined forces to try to find a solution before Earth is too crowded. They have tried sending spaceships into space and leave some of the population up there, but the space crafts required to have humans live there forever is not possible. They have tried making underwater pockets so people can live under the sea, but the underwater pockets are too fragile to maintain and easily every citizen can drown. Hope was almost given up. Until scientists found a planet only couple light years away that is a sister planet to Earth. No one has ever been on this planet before and is unsure what will people find there. So on the year B18, all children born within that year were taken from their families and sent into a spaceship to be trained and prepared for the landing of this new planet. Samantha and her squad are flying through space and preparing themselves both mentally and physically for the adventures of this new planet.
