A sororate, is a woman, paid to a grieving and widowed husband as compensation for the early death of his deceased wife. This is because the wife's family is too poor to give back the bride price and so, usually, the small sister to the deceased becomes the wife.
Most times, we as human beings plan for our futures not realising that the future has different plans for us.
