Paper Flowers
Featured by @Romance .·:*¨༺ ༻¨*:·. "Why do you make these paper flowers?" He asked, looking at her through the mirror. "They don't wither like the real ones." She replied, aligning the entire bunch of paper flowers. "But they don't have the fragrance." He politely challenged her. He was a soldier. Chivalrous was his middle name. "These paper flowers, they stay with you for as long as you want. You don't really have to throw them away like people discard the real ones. They pluck them for the fragrance and colors. But once that fades, they throw it away." She said, finally looking up at him. "Not everyone!" He added almost immediately, taking one more step forward. It could be his height or his longer stride, or maybe the room was too small as it only took him two steps to reach her. "Yeah! Of course! Exceptions are there, like poets and people in love." She walked in a different direction, putting those flowers on the table. He rolled his eyes with a defeated sigh. She was a teacher. Arguing with her was as futile as making a sand castle on a seashore. "You know, gone is the era when people used to preserve the flowers of their loved ones. We don't have people like that anymore!" She said as she faced him. "We don't have that kind of love anymore." He said looking straight into her eyes. She held his gaze through the mirror for a while, trying to read through him. "I agree." Murmuring under her breath, she turned around. Taking a deep breath, watching her retreating figure, he brought out his favorite poetry book from the shelf. After he was sure she was not looking, he ruffled through the pages till he found a dried Hibiscus. The very same one which had fallen from her bag when he first saw her. With a small smile, he cautiously caressed the petals. He closed the book with a fond sigh and found her looking at him. She couldn't hold his gaze for long and looked down, crimson covering her cheeks. He shook his head with a chuckle.Complete

A flower is to be always beautiful lest it is cast away. A flower is to be innocent and pure. Delicate in nature, ever to bring squinting smiles to those around. A flower is perfect. Always perfect. She was the perfect embodiment of a flower. Her name, Iris. A thorn is sharp like a knight's blade. It inflicts pain and draws blood if one dares to get close. A thorn protects a flower from the wickedness of the world. A thorn is attached to the king, ever guarding. He was the perfect embodiment of a thorn. His name, Luca. She was an iris in no need of a thorn and he was a thorn in no need of a delicate iris. Thrust together by an arranged marriage, the unlikely pair, the thorn, and the flower must now find a way to co-inhabit in the same garden. Bracing the strength of the winter, will their love and companionship last for the spring season or will the cold betrayal of a parasitic orchid, the overflowing herbicide of lies and the perfect perfection of the Iris trample the delicate budding bloom of their affairs of the heart?Complete
Worst Scars
Tossing and turning over the mattress, My breath heavily and barely dispersed. The vedios in my mind played all night, Of you, me, us, and just us. Everything about you, Deserves to be written in poetry. For it's my confession of my fondness, That may never be your priority. You make me witness heaven, Even when I'm fighting devils inside me. The halo of your existence, Is more than that of any cherub's sheen. Some conversations left unspoken, Might stay like this till eternity. Some confessions left forbidden, Might always be hidden. A spark of a moon called, 'you', Is enough to light up my world. Allow me to draw a lilac light, Of deep affection that'll never be blurred. How are you so flawless in my eyes? Shouldn't you be same as others? Why this heart gave you an exceptional place, And adores you much more than you see in words. Becoming my home, rose, and religion, In me, you rose a happier version And how, suddenly all the love songs are about you? Tell me, have I fallen or it's just attraction? Well, 'just attraction' is what they say, If yes, then damn, this attraction is so hard, That I mention you whenever I pray, And I can't even explain why I adore you, more and more, day by day. A collection of Poems about a cluster-fuck of things; from wanting to die to jumping in front of trains, to sex on the phone and love beneath the bedsheets. Being so full of emotion to void of it all, the darkest of thoughts and most suicidal of moments. All boundaries crossed - Death, Rape, Mental Health. The Sun and the moon, and the wrath of an endless sky of stars. Where violence and abuse walk hand in hand, and the rain makes you wonder "what do our rooms look like when we die?"
