Edd wept every night after he lost Tord.

Tom felt responsible for it all, he was the one who shot that damn traitor down in the first place. He became so tired of Edd's sadness that one day, he decided to find out how to cheer him up. Guess what? His good deed was rewarded in the most terrible way possible as he was suddenly abducted by a couple of frightening officers.

Officers that were sent by a man he knew too well. 

A man who should've been dead a long time ago, and is now back for a taste of bittersweet revenge.
