I have no real background for this story except for the fact that the beginning chapters are more of a filler before i start going into real detail. There will be five (recently played DA 2 and fell in love with Fenris. Lol) different stories based on the Main Character River.
They were born in our world. Cars, phones, TV, electronics, video games. Follow the story of River and her friends Drake and Clair as they plunge through the world of Dragon Age: Inquisition which turns out is a separate world to their own. Follow their lives as they go through war, diplomacy, life, death, and love.
(love interests for River are Solas, Cullen, Iron Bull, Fenris, and Abolas. Separate stories will be done for each)
I dont own DA:I just the characters that i have added and whatever else that i add to the original story line.

What if Solas never slept in Uthenera.... what if he just hid in his Glen and only came out to wander the world and help those he deemed "worthy" of his "services".... what if spirits could love as humans do.... just not while they are in the Fade.... Melava Sulevan is who people call the Gypsy Elf.... her clan was taken by slavers when she was a child many were sold some were killed and only she escaped.... from then on she was moved from clan to clan but spent most of her time out of the camps.... even though she was Dalish she wasn't very fond of the Dalish was.... their beliefs, how they treated outsiders.... when she was 4..... that is when her clan was being sold off..... she met two wolves who took care of her along her journey from one clan to the next..... they never entered the camps though.... those wolves belonged to Solas.... she named them Fen (who is all white with one blue and one green eye) and Harel (who is all black with one grey and one red eye)..... Solas watched her through their eyes as she grew into a beautiful powerful mage.... the two wolves were considered her protectors by the clans since they were always seen only with her.... her last clan is Keeper Hawen's clan.... when she was of age he asked her who's Vallaslin she wished to wear and with a serious face but teasing tone she told him "the dread wolf's"..... So she grew up the only elf without a Vallaslin till she joined the Inquisition and met Solas.... but fell in love with the spirit Cole/CompassionConcluida
By My Hands
Rook and Solas battle it out and wind up locked in the Fade together. Will they kill each other or will they heal Thedas and themselves? So, I didn't really like the ending of Veilguard and thus decided to write my own. This series begins at the "bad ending" where Rook and Solas end up in the Fade together (though Rook survives this). I incorporated some of the other aspects of the "better endings" where most of the Veilguard survives, barring Davrin/Assan and Bellara. I stove to give Rook what she was desperately lacking in game, which was a solid origin story. Yes, I am aware that it's a difficult backstory and it is intended to be that way for many reasons that will reveal themselves as the series goes forward. There are definitely some adult themes here. Those who already follow my work know that I don't shy away from the dark. This is a story about lies, anger, love, obsession, redemption and insane chemistry--not all in that order. I also felt my poor Inquisitor deserved some agency and through this story, I was able to give it to her. If you are easily triggered or don't like Solas with anyone else besides the Inquisitor, this might not be the series for you. I'm just giving a fair warning here. Please note chapter one begins with good deal of in-game dialogue.

Torn between the wild loyalty of Aela the Huntress and the dark allure of Serana, the Dragonborn walks a path of blood and destiny. In the shadows of Skyrim, love and power are never without sacrifice. A WLW Fanfiction following the Dawnguard/Serana questline (becoming a vampire). It follows a lot of the story and script, but with variation and expansion. There's a lot of romance, a love triangle, and spicy smut. Much of the story is based off of my most recent playthrough- I had never met Serana before and I truly loved Aela the Huntress as my companion, but once I met Serana, I threw Aela to the wolves, so to speak. Her long blonde locks and emerald green eyes might give off the image of innocence, but Sammie finds pleasure in dark magic, despite the warnings she gets about the aftermath of such magic. Sneaking off to fulfill her dark desires was much simpler before Hawke, a suave and confident companion at the least, became entangled in her life. Dalish scribe Avril finds that speaking to those with authority is practically impossible. She would rather hide behind her curly, dark blonde hair and a book rather than be dragged out to where a fight is being held. But can Solas, a fellow elf, bring her out of her shell and remind her of her glory days? Or will old flames get in the way of everything?
