For 17-year-old high school senior Evan Brooks, life could be better. He's a social outcast at school, stuck in a rural small town he never wanted to move to, and he's got a secret he's desperately trying to keep: he's gay. When his family decides to embark on a weekend vacation to Florida for his birthday, none of them can anticipate how much a simple 3-day road trip will change their lives forever. CONTENT WARNING/TRIGGERS: Please note that this story contains very strong language at times and some mature themes. Some characters face emotional abuse. There is also a small amount of physical abuse, but it is mostly implied apart from one scene which is not extremely graphic. Some characters are homophobic, and a slur is used a handful of times. I tried my best to include as many triggers I could think of, but if you notice anything else in the story that may potentially be one please feel free to let me know and I will add it as a warning. Thomas needed a vacation, but that didn't mean he wanted one. His best friend convinced him to come down to his family's beach house for the summer to unwind, to relax for once. Thomas wasn't swayed easily, but he found himself on a flight to Florida regardless, albeit begrudgingly. Thomas intended to mope around for the three months, drink away his problems, and maybe get a tan in the process. However, his plans were thwarted when an unwanted houseguest from his past arrived the day after his getting there, leaving a bitter tang on the entire "vacation." Not to mention, Thomas was forced to share what he thought was his room with his best friend's wife's ridiculously handsome brother, Dallas. Thomas was on the cusp of drowning in the first week. Relaxation wasn't even on the agenda. He just had to try to keep his head above water.

Noah - Quite and loving, gets bullied for being gay. He doesn't talk to people and deals whit depression at times because of the way he isolates himself. All he truly wants is to be accepted. What will it take to get him out of his shell. Theodore - A soccer player who hides his true self. He is a in the closet gay and loves Noah, his ex best friend. What will it take for Noah to forgive him for what he has done and love him? (BoyxBoy) This is a story about love and what it is worth. Two boys, Noah and Theodore, go through the battle to fight for what they want and acceptance they deserve. I hope you take the time and hear the story about how love can truly conquer all.
