I rapidly wiped the tears from my face.
   Why is this happening to me? What happened this time? I did nothing wrong. Did I?
  
  "YOU LIED TO ME! YOU PROMISED YOU WOULDN'T HURT ME LIKE THEY DID!"
  
  He looked at me, eyes glimmering with sadness. 
  
  "Max I did for you, for us!"

 I look at him, blue flames engulfing my body. My hands clench into fists and he falls to his knees.
  
"Max, please-"

  I cut him off with a hard glare, tears still pouring from my eyes. 
  
  "You don't deserve to say my name. You are no better than them. You never will be."
  
 With a flick of my wrist, his neck snaps.
