Humans have been a nuisance since the beginning but one day the king ordered to have every creature with magical power to be executed. Dragons, fairies, elves, and other creatures alike. Dragons were targeted first, the battle between the dragons and humans was furious and many dragon and human lives were lost. When the dragons retreated after the 100 year war, the last few survivors were sealed away in a different dimension, The Mythic Forest, no one knows if the dragons are even alive at this point, there is almost no evidence that they even existed. 
Our story starts with two brothers...

I screamed this time, trying to push myself up onto my back, my leg killing me so much that I had to give up. I laid back down on the ground, placing my hand on the bottom of the table; anger, fear, confusion getting the best of me. I screamed as I banged my fists on the wood table. "MOM? BETTY?" Nothing. I was ready to bang on the wood again, but I flinched back when I heard the sound of moving rubble. Whoever it is was almost near where I was, and ... moving quickly. So, there's no possible way that it was a human. It would take hundreds do men to lift these boulders, but whoever this person is, is stronger than anyone I would kn- My thoughts froze as I watched something large wrap around the edges of the table, lifting it up; my eyes widening as I came face to face with the largest creature known to mankind. A giant. (This is my book from my own brain. These are my own characters based off my family members. Please do not steal it.)

I'm only leaving you alive because you're Knight in shining armor will kill us all if you go missing.", she said in a serious and monotone voice as she walked back into the ocean, turning her back to me, while the sirens began to swim away. As she walked away, thoughts flooded my mind. I couldn't leave her unscratched, she couldn't walk away from me, The Queen of Vampires with no bruises or cuts on her. I had one chance to do this.

So far I have only completed the first 5 chapters, the rest I will be working on while this is out. I'm releasing this so early for input, just to see what you guys think and what I should change. Oh yeah, and this is my first book ever "Published", so please bear with me. This will be the first book in a two-part epic[genre] novel series, or least that's what I'm planning.

A different type of species that was unwanted by the humans so they hid the hybrids away. There were many different types of hybrids. There were Neko, also known as cat people, or people with cat-like features, Werewolves, people with wolf-like features. Ghouls, or creatures of the night. There were also those stereotypical hybrids, such as vampires, zombie-like people, mermaid creatures-- the school's least favourite because of their background story-- and more. People didn't like these hybrids because they're different and that makes people fear them. "I'm not like them, you see, I accept everyone as they are, because, well.. I'm one of them! My name is Azura Night and I'm a neko! I have cat ears and retractable claws. On top of that, when I get angry, my eyes turn red! People fear me because of that and it makes it hard to become friends with anyone. That's why I moved here to Hybrid Hall; a place where people like me are welcome."

"You are a monster, a pathetic monster but still a monster." He states calmly as he kicks at my feet. I look up at him "Why? Why are you like this. " "Runt, I am a king of beast. King of dragons and you wonder why I am cold? My very power is ice." He grabs hold of my shoulders and lifts me up as his face nears mine. "And I am going to enjoy freezing your heart."

Together, the magical creatures were able to stop him. The humans left the lands, leaving behind everything they had built. The alliance between the four people was broken. The elves and mermaids tried to rebuild their alliance, but without the werewolves it was impossible. And so the three different people parted, hardly talking to one another ever again. Now, one hundred years later, a new realm has been created. It was separated from the other realms by a large wall. A new leader has risen from the shadows. He believed that the outside world was filled with dangerous things. So, he made sure everyone stayed within the walls of the empire. And those who didn't were never heard of again. As others always looked away, a young man called Orlando, always glanced beyond the wall. One day, he's able to see what's behind the wall for himself instead of hearing stories. This is a fantasy theme, with magic, witches, dragons. This is a story with a female strong lead surrounded in mystery & unknown; not to mention being chased by huge wolves, undead, & necromancers. Summary; Kollbaine is fleeing into the frozen north flying as fast as he can away from his own pursuer, when he sees a small moving speck in the distance of a frozen wasteland. There are too many wolves in these parts, and no people. Even as he watches and strains his eyes he sees the need to pour out as much speed as he and Howl can muster. There's a girl ahead surrounded by a pack of wolves, and she's about to be eaten. If they can only make it in time! But he and Howl are both already exhausted and wounded. They are also still being pursued themselves by another enemy rider and his dragon. What will happen when his pursuer catches up?
