Ten lived. She never died and she made it to Earth, having her back may stir up some tensions. With her power making her a ticking time bomb of emotion she finds herself locked back up with Nine. Lucky for them, she can't break a charm that was never cast on her. ⚠️MATURE THEMES MAY INCLUDE: Gory description, violent actions, and mild to severe language. THE EVENTS IN THIS STORY ARE REAL. NAMES AND PLACES HAVE BEEN CHANGED TO PROTECT THE LORIEN. WHO REMAIN IN HIDING UNTIL THE TIME IS RIGHT. - SHE HAS DEVELOPED POWERS. SHE CAN FIGHT BACK. SHE CAN HELP YOU SAVE THE WORLD, BUT SHE MUST CHOOSE A SIDE. THEY KNOW SHE HAS LEGACIES. THEY FEAR WHAT SHE CAN BECOME. THEY WILL HUNT HER DOWN. THEY WILL NEVER STOP SEARCHING. LORIEN CHOSE HER. IT CHOSE WELL. - For those who loved the original book, this is the REWRITTEN version of A Hero in the Dark! It is by no means perfect, and yes, of course some scenes have changed, but hopefully, you see it as an upgrade just as Pittacus Lore and myself do. Note: This will be the only rewritten version of AHITD, so please don't ask for another rewrite. I don't plan on going back to this story again. I want to leave it as is. ***This book can be read as a standalone. You do not need to read the first book before this one
