"I know your torn between the light and the dark. You can still-" She was cut off by a terrible pain in her throat. His arm was stretched out and he had taken a step back. Clawing at her neck, Rey let out horrible gasps for air as she stared, pleading Kylo Ren to let her go.

"You think so?" He growled nefariously and watched as Rey's eyes became red, an ugly contrast with her bulging blue veins showing in her neck.

"The darkness makes me strong." He said proudly, his mouth twitching and sneering, although Rey could barely understand him. She was consumed by the pain growing and throbbing in her throat. Kylo gave a final hiss and struck Rey against the wall. She was left there, panting and sobbing on the ground, trapped with a monster.

Luke knows Kylo Ren can be converted to the light, and he sets Rey the mission to change him. Only then will he train her in the ways of the force. Rey believes this task is almost impossible. Kylo has become aggressive and violent; darker than ever before as a result of murdering his father. Rey is also struggling with depression from Han Solo's death. They battle each other with their own truths and come out as different people.
