“Tate!” My body froze, the voice belonged to be drunken father.
“Answer me damn it!” his footsteps had come closer to my bedroom door and I panicked opening my window feeling the cold breeze hit my warm cheeks, I stepped out onto the roof hearing my bedroom door open.
“Get the fuck in here Tate!”
“So you can fucking beat the shit out of me?!” That’s when I felt it, I felt a hand on the end of my hoodie and I slipped losing my balance trying to get away and fell off the roof of the house, blacking out.

His husky voice was a distinct reminder that he was my mate. The tingles that spread through my body made me hate but love the entire situation. I want him closer. "You don't run away from me, understand?" I nodded, he was really close to me and my wolf purred for him to be closer. I pushed the thoughts to the back of my mind as he slowly removed his hand. "What do you want?" I demanded, making the futile attempt to shove him away though he didn't move an inch. "I want what is mine." He replied with a low growl that sent chills up my spine. My back was still pressed firmly against the wall and I think I was in shock to move. Though I felt safe which made me feel sick, how could I be safe in the presence of him? Time was standing annoyingly still and I think I may have forgotten how to properly breathe. "Panda you have to come sit down pacing is not going to-" pushing my hand out I stopped him from saying anything.
