[edit - 8/31/17] jeremy is in love with christine. at least, he's pretty sure it's her. sure, they only talk about theatre- but it's still talking! jeremy gets the idea to ask her out after the school play when he's approached by rich and gains hold of a squip (super quantum unit intel processor). he uses his squip to gain the courage to ask out christine. he is rejected but he finds that he isn't hurt. his heart is intact and maybe... it was beating for someone else.
