It's 6 years later. 

Last we heard, Jade Fawn had been taken into the arms of two vampires, Syrus and Silva, who've vowed to lay their life and protect her, which they have.

Connor Davis, Alpha Alex Knight, Eric Fawn, and his mate are nearing the end of their task and plan to return back to their former home they lost.

Everything sounds like it's running smoothly, right? Well think again.
