"Never trust a fairy; they take children in their sleep and whisk them away from their families, putting them in their own world and changing their genetics until the child is one of them. The changelings they leave in their stead die shortly after, leaving the parents to believe that their child has died." Jensen Arbor is a fairy... or so he thinks. At the age of four, he was hijacked by fairies who dragged him to their own world and convinced him that he was one of them. Like every other child of the Fey, he started developing his powers shortly after, due to a genetic modification made by fairy surgeons. His life is good. Still, he wishes he knew why all he can remember about his toddler years are dreams of playing with a little girl who looked just like him. Chloe Arbor is a human through and through. From her first day of school, to her eighth birthday party, to knowing just how atrocious High School can be to a seventeen year-old girl, she's had all the experiences every normal human has. Fourteen years ago, her brother died. But when she spots somebody who looks exactly like how she always imagined him, she decides to investigate. Whether or not she's ready for what she finds is a whole other story.

Who was this boy who kept appearing in Chloe's dreams? Obviously he was just a figment of her imagination. Even if these dreams were extremely realistic. There is no way these dreams could be real right? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ "Isn't it obvious? It's magic." He takes my hand. "And with magic, anything is possible." He said this so genuinely, with so much sincerity in his tone, it was as if he actually believed it. "But magic isn't real." I reply back, frowning.Magic was something out of a fairytale, made to give children false hope. "It is!" He insists. I roll my eyes. "It is not." I retort. I crossed my arms. He sighs. "Whatever you say.'' ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I made this a while back but I decided to publish it in case anyone wants to read it. I know the plot is kinda all over the place so just bear with me lol. Completed Cover made using canva template :))
