I look up to see his face was a mask of confusion, his gear turning on in his head. Then he suddenly spoke. Those words made me jerk my head towards him. "Scarlet." I took a step back. Does he belong to those who kidnapped me? I took a step back turn and started to run. But I stopped when he took a hold of my hand, a vise grip yet gentle. "Scarlet. I'm Blake. Don't run from me." He then slowly turns me around to face him But I don't recognize him. I haven't seen him before. How does he know me? "Who are you? How do you know my name?" he looks taken aback by my question. Hurt flashes his eyes. Then he composes himself then answers. "You don't remember me." I shook my head. He takes a deep breath in, closing his eyes She has lived a normal life. As normal as it could be for her with a dark secret waiting for her. But still normal. Living with her Uncle, having group of friends who would die for her and a perfect boyfriend, her life was better than she imagined. But all changes the night she was kidnapped. A orphan boy, who lost his parents at the age of 12, he moved to New York to live with his Uncle. He met new friends there. His life slowly turn out to be better. Even when he didn't have his parents to support him, he had his new friends to be by his side. But what happen when his long time crush get lost. Feeling ignite within them. They so called friendship turns into something new. But will their new relationship will last when her past demons are right behind her. A dark evil force is waiting to just pop their happy bubble for them. Blood bath follows and many secrets are relieved. Read to find out what happens in the hazardous game. [This is my first story I ever wrote. I know it has mistakes and it's a bit childish but I would really appreciate it if you all at least gave it a try. "Would you ever kiss me?" he asked "Well I find the saliva exchange gross and very.." "Emily! !" he snapped. "Alright.. Maybe." I said being honest? "Maybe?" He questioned then started to get closer to me, a little too close. So close that I could feel him breathing on my face and neck. I tried to move back but there wasn't any more space on the couch. What happened to the rest of the couch? Did it magically shrink? "Ryan?" I asked getting a little nervous "Yeah," he mumble. "What are you doing?" I asked, are noses were almost touching. "I'm trying to kiss you, so hush," he respond like it was the most natural thing to do. He started to lean in are lips were almost touching when a hard knock came from the front door. But that didn't seem to stop Ryan, it was like he didn't hear anything until they knock again. "Um, the door knock, " I said stupidly "I mean someone is at the door." I stood up. Ryan just seemed irritated. "I'll go get it." I said and headed to the door. What I saw when I opened the door made me want to run and hide. Ryan's dad was standing there with a gun in his hand. Well I've live long enough Emily is just a normal girl that happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Annoyed by her best guy friend she accepted going to a party with him which leads her into a messy scene that almost causes her life. But what happens when a boy saves her? Then they have to run from a criminal that wants to kill them, which is the boy's dad? Read and find out! The drama is just starting.
