In the world of Remnant, Grimm roam the world, meant to terrorize the lives of people. Beacon Academy was created to train huntresses and hunters to help fend off these creatures, and save the world.
LYRA was only a girl when her family was killed off entirely by Grimm. Orphaned at a young age, Lyra only survived because she met a girl by the name of Pyrrha Nikos. With Pyrrha's help, Lyra grew to become a famous ballerina...but underneath her visage of fame lies a hidden darkness.
JANELLE was meant to be a huntress...but her family often disagreed. With a lot of hard work, she followed her own dreams and attended Beacon Academy, hoping to prove her family wrong and become a huntress.
NICO was kidnapped by the White Fang at a young age. She was an experimental success- at least, in the eyes of the White Fang. She lost all human tendencies and became half Grimm. She finally managed to escape from their clutches, and was brought to Beacon for her own safety.
TANYA always had a carefree attitude that had ended up saving hers and her grandfathers life. Since then, she'd always wanted to be the hero who accomplished greatness and follow in her family's legacy. Tanya came to Beacon in hopes of recognition.
The four girls are selected for a team, yet their personalities are quite incompatible at first. However, they must learn to work together as a team in order to fight the growing darkness of the world.

RWBY: Demonic Heart
Jaune's transcripts are revealed early after Cardin hears him tell Pyrrha about them, with this Jaune decides to distance himself from his team so they don't get ridiculed. This however leaves him alone with only verbal support by his team and friends, and he is forced to live outside the dorms for a bit. For a few months Jaune makes himself a home in the Forest of Beacon and due to some political nonsense he has to send his weapon back home, he has to use spare weapons from the armory at the school and learn how to use them. In no time he gets better and through training he catches up to his friends, but thats not all fate has in store for him as he would become more than just a man, he would become the 'Dark Knight' of Remnant.

RWBY: Jaune Arc's Ascension
Jaune Arc, the lovable goofball and sole male of the Arc clan has left his home on his quest to become a hero like his ancestors, but being a civilian and not having the training necessary, he has to rely on cheating his way into Beacon by the use of fake transcripts. And now that he has begun his journey, he hopes that he can improve and make his ancestors proud, while also surrounding himself with people he can trust and perhaps, a deeper connection and relationship. This is his journey to become a Legend and legacy of his ancestors. A/N: Now, I have given this much thought and I have read many Jaune fics, harem mostly and they weren't exactly original, as they forgo his canon personality and just give him powers from another franchise instead of making him increase his own skill. And so I decided to write this book and it will also include harem as well. I will try to keep their personalities as close to canon as I can. All Hail Monty Oum.
