Tranquility

Stella Garret has her work cut out for her. Thrown out into the streets when she was fourteen, left with nothing but the clothes on her back and twenty dollars, Stella struggles to make a living in the dirty streets of Chicago.

Now a nineteen year old woman, Stella still has odd jobs here and there playing music at gigs, until she has a recurring dream that takes her to a new world.

They call it Tranquila, and it's where all the guardian angels of the world exist. Some people might know it better as Heaven.

Hayden, a resident of Tranquila, has been watching Stella her whole life. In a non-stalkerish way, of course. He's her guardian angel. Hayden's mission and assignment is to help Stella live out the life she was destined for: a professional musician. But he's been screwing up, and now she lives on the streets. Stella's never seen Hayden before, but every night he watches her sleep and gives her a little good luck for the next day.

When Stella and Hayden cross paths for the first time, and Stella learns the full truth, Hayden gets replaced by someone new, because of Bylaw 12.4.7, Section 3: If your secrecy is breached and your identity known to the object placed under your care, you shall be removed from Guardian Status and put on probation until further notice.

Stella and Hayden are now racing to find each other in the midst of Tranquila, where they must each battle their own inner fears and the Tranquilian Police, who are out to get the living mortal who is in the land of the dead.

Hayden and Stella's fates are now intertwined forever, and their newfound friendship just might land them both on the A-Team.
