Alice-Grace Crimson is the Princess of Gwindia, a beautiful and adored part of the land.
Her life is soon put in jeopardy as her 23rd birthday approaches along with an arranged marriage, set in place by her mother and father which, despite her parent's enthusiasm, Alice-Grace would much prefer to live alone if her future was to be forced.
At the very first opportunity, Alice-Grace flees with childhood friend, Matilda in hope to start a new life far away from Gwindia, where she could make her own choices.
